Invited Expert Lectures: From SPA Bhopal

At the invitation of Director, Assam Administrative Staff College, Guwahati, Prof. Choudhury delivered two lectures on February 9, 2026 before the 2026 batch of Assam Civil Service officers, namely, (i) Governance in Urban Assam – The Issues and Imperatives and (ii) From Gowhattee to Guwahati Enroute Gauhati – The Journey of NE India’s Premier City. The lectures were prepared, using historical anecdotes, relevant data sets, contemporary legislations, guidelines, policy notes, best practices and even very simple mathematical formulations. Each lecture was followed by a brief Q&A session and some concluding remarks by the Coordinator of the Induction Training Programme.
