Invited Expert Lectures : At SPA Bhopal

A special lecture was organized for the students of 6th Semester students of B.Plan programme. Prof. Dr. Sanjukkta Bhaduri, Rtd. Professor, Urban Planning and Former Dean Research SPA Delhi, delivered an interactive lecture on urban development, planning, DRR, risk sensitive planning and its process. She guided students to detailed steps and case studies from on-ground projects pertaining to integration of DRR. She also discussed possible challenges that planners encounter in this integration. Students at the end of the lecture understood the various linkages between mainstream planning and DRR along with understanding of risk sensitive spatial planning approach.
